Meet Street Villain – a 1993 Nissan 180SX unlike any other. Powered by a potent LS1 383 Stroker engine, this build fuses Japanese engineering with unmistakable Australian muscle car attitude. With custom body enhancements that amplify its aggressive silhouette and a rich candy paint finish that demands attention, Street Villain is a bold expression of power and individuality. It’s a car built to dominate streets, turn heads, and leave a lasting impression wherever it goes.

Engine and Management System:

To deliver awe-inspiring power, we opted for an LS1 383 Stroker engine, meticulously built in-house at Proximity Motorsport. Equipped with Harrop Hurricane Individual Throttle Bodies (ITB’s) and Direct Port Nitrous Injection, this engine roared to life. To harness this beastly power, we installed an Emtron KV8 ECU, Blackbox PDM, and PowerTune digital dash, ensuring seamless performance monitoring and control. The intricate harness and wiring, expertly handled by OCD Industries, resulted in a cohesive and reliable electrical system. The final touch was a precise tune by JP Tuning, maximizing the potential of this performance powerhouse.

Driveline:

The heart-pounding power of the Street Villain demanded a driveline that could handle the intensity. We paired the LS1 engine with a T56 gearbox, known for its durability and crisp shifting. To ensure smooth engagement and exceptional power transfer, we installed a DCS Twin plate clutch. Enhancing the driving experience further, we integrated an S1 Sequential Shifter, allowing lightning-fast gear changes. Completing the driveline upgrade, we incorporated an R32 GTR Differential for optimal traction and stability.

Wheels and Suspension:

To complement the Street Villain’s impressive power and handling capabilities, the customer selected a set of SSR SP1 Professor Wheels, measuring a staggering 18×10.5 inches in the front and 18×13 inches in the rear. These wheels not only added a touch of sophistication but also ensured ample grip on the road. To provide precise handling and customizable ride height, the customer opted for MCA Red Series Coilovers. For added convenience, they integrated the Stanceparts Aircup System, allowing the vehicle to raise and lower its ride height with ease.

Interior:

Inside the Street Villain, the focus was on both comfort and functionality. The customer chose luxurious Bride Japan seats, providing exceptional support during spirited drives. Carbon fibre accents adorned the dash, centre console, and door cards, adding a touch of modern elegance. A Nardi steering wheel paired with an NRG quick-release hub provided a commanding grip and ease of entry. Safety was prioritized with the installation of a Saito roll cage, providing the necessary protection for intense driving situations.

Body and Paint:

The Street Villain’s aesthetics demanded a complete transformation, and the customer rose to the challenge. They opted for a custom Rocket Bunny S14 boss aero V2 front bar, combined with 180sx guards and an S13 hood with VE reverse cowl, creating an aggressive front-end appearance. Rocket Bunny flares, skirts, and spoiler enhanced the vehicle’s aerodynamics and visual impact. The custom Rocket Bunny rear bar, paired with Origin rear overfenders, added a muscular rear presence. To top it off, the Street Villain received a jaw-dropping custom candy paint finish by Lowco Customs, ensuring that it would command attention wherever it went.
